Awesomely hard

I'd have to say this is one of the toughest games I've played on NG and I like a good challenge. Hand drawn animations are my favorite type. Only thing that made me gave you a nine is the ending. Even though you lost the first ending you did due to unforeseen complications, I still have to dock ya for it. I recommend that you polish the ending that you have.

To all those that are complaining about the difficulty of the game here's what I say. It's a game that you learn how to play, learn how to fight the boss and then kick his wooden butt into next week. Once you get that.. he is much easier than you think.

Oh and a note about the one achievement with the spam cannon attack. I deflected way over three cannonballs (three entire attacks) and then I got the achievement. So I think the description for that achievement is off. Or it's a glitch in the achievement itself.

if you block the cannons bounce off screen, if you deflect, they hit the boss, the first 3 count for the achievement.

Amazingly hard at times

Difficulty moves semi gradually where the most noticeable jump is from 5 to 6 and 12 to 13. Since thirteen is either do it right or don't do it at all.
It's a nice change for a hard game to come along instead of simple.. do whatever and win games... mostly. The final mission was interesting but I won't say what you have to do for it. Just think of colors is all I will say.
The animation at the end is quite a flashback since Aku repeats the opening speech from SJ. It was a great show it was.

Anyway the mission with the long tubes where you have to get the shot just right annoyed me the most. Even though 13 is far harder heh.

Pretty good n' tough

This is a well done game. The graphics may not be perfect, but the fit the bill pretty well. Even though the characters are no more than bodies with stick legs and arms and a big head, each one is good. The little extra things like breathing and discarded clips and even the brains and bones that fly out of the zombies once they finally die makes it special. First few areas are pretty easy as they should be. But the super mutant zombies are incredibly tough compared to their small relatives. Only thing that I can complain about is damage factors and hp increases for the zombies. Takes almost a whole clip to kill a mutant zombie in the military base. I died on my last day there D:

Overall it's a good game. I really liked how you are able to explore each area instead of being stuck in one place. Makes defending your little area much harder or easier depending on where you go. I couldn't figure out how to repair my barricades and then I realized you do it during the rounds.. not after. Wish you had a health meter on your barricade instead of visual inspections. And a question. Do your explosives hurt your barricades?
